AC Milan have officially signed Sancon Diawara, with the two sides signing a contract valid until 2031.

AC Milan have officially announced the signing of French defender Sancon Diawara. The young player joined from Ligue 2 side Troyes on a long-term contract valid until June 30, 2031, with the club holding an option to extend.

Sancon Diawara was born on January 13, 2006, in Paris, France. He received his early football training at FC Solitaires Paris and CA Paris-Charenton before joining Troyes' youth academy in 2020, which marked the beginning of his professional career.

After completing his youth academy training, Sancon Diawara reached a pivotal moment in his career in November 2024, making his first-team debut in the French Cup. He then gradually established himself at Troyes, making 17 appearances for the team in the following season across league and domestic cup competitions, helping them return to Ligue 1 and lift the Ligue 2 title.

With his consistent and mature performances, Sancon Diawara has quickly emerged as a rising star in French football, becoming one of the most watched young defenders. As a left-footed center-back, he possesses not only solid footwork and excellent ball distribution ability, but also strong physical attributes and a calm mindset during matches.

These strengths have demonstrated his immense potential for growth and proved that he already possesses the ability to establish himself in the professional arena. Now, joining AC Milan, he will usher in a new stage of growth in his career.

In the new season, Sancon Diawara will wear the number 13 jersey for AC Milan, officially beginning his career with the Rossoneri. The entire club warmly welcomes him and looks forward to the young defender's continued growth at the San Siro, where he will write his own brilliant chapter.
