Liverpool are reportedly preparing a high-profile bid for Paris Saint-Germain winger Barcoa.

According to media reports, after initial communication with player representatives, Liverpool are preparing to submit their first formal offer to Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, viewing him as a key target to strengthen their attack this summer.

The 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain winger has two years remaining on his contract with the club. Despite playing for the European champions, Barcora is believed to have rejected a contract extension offer from PSG due to his declining playing time under Luis Enrique.

Paris Saint-Germain currently values the French international at around £145 million, a price that would set a new Premier League transfer record. After learning that the player is open to a move to the Premier League, Liverpool are expected to launch a substantial bid in the coming days to try and complete this summer's blockbuster signing.

To build a more competitive squad for new manager Andoni Iraola, Liverpool had previously signed Osasuna striker Victor Muñoz and brought in Rennes centre-back Jeremy Jacquet for an initial fee of £55 million.

However, due to Iraola's concerns about the defensive depth and attacking power in the tactical system, Liverpool still hopes to increase investment before the transfer window closes and complete a comprehensive upgrade on both ends of the pitch.
