Rennes' young right-back Rayan Bamba officially joins Le Mans on-loan..

Le Mans announced on their official website on Saturday that Rennes' young French right-back Rayan Bamba has joined the club on-loan.

According to Le Mans' official statement, Bamba will play for the club on-loan until the end of the new season, and the loan agreement does not include a buy-out clause. He will also wear the number 19 jersey.

About Rayan Bamba

Bamba, who is only still 22 years old, was born on May 14, 2004, in Paris, France. He is 1.85 meters tall and primarily plays as a right-back, but can also play as a right midfielder. He holds dual French and Ivorian citizenship.

Bamba joined the youth academy of non-league club Montrouge at the age of six, and in 2021 joined Rennes' youth academy before starting to play for Rennes' reserve team two years later.

After being promoted to the Ligue 1 powerhouse's first-team in the summer of 2024, Bamba was immediately loaned out to Concarneau.

In the summer of 2025, Bamba was loaned-out Nancy.

Last season, Bamba made 24 appearances for the Ligue 2 club in all competitions, scoring 2 goals.
