Watford Football Club has officially announced that it has reached an agreement with Udinese to sign Zimbabwean international Jordan Zemula on loan. The 26-year-old left-back will play for Watford on loan for the new season, and the deal is subject to completion of English Football League (EFL) and international transfer procedures before it officially takes effect.
Jordan Zemula spent a long time in English football, starting his career at Bournemouth, where he gained valuable experience playing in the Championship. He later transferred to Serie A side Udinese, where he further honed his skills at a higher level, enriching his professional resume.
Speaking about the signing, Watford Group Technical Director Gian Luca Nani said: "Jordan Zemula is an experienced full-back who is very familiar with the Championship, possesses excellent technical ability and a well-rounded playing style. He is actively involved in attacking, and his defensive abilities have been further enhanced after his experience in Serie A. He meets our expectations in terms of experience, individual ability and winning mentality, and we are very happy to welcome him."
The arrival of Jordan Zemula provides Watford with a fresh addition to their left flank and further enhances the team's overall strength at full-back. With his well-rounded abilities in both attack and defense, he is expected to offer the team more tactical options in the new season, helping them aim for higher goals.
