Hoffenheim announced on Sunday that they have officially signed 20-year-old Danish right winger Adam Dardjm. Dardjm transferred from Red Bull Salzburg and is expected to sign a contract until June 30, 2031.
The official confirmation also states that Dardim will wear the number 14 jersey at Hoffenheim. Given that the player's contract with RB Salzburg was originally set to expire in 2028, the transfer was ultimately completed for €13 million plus €1.5 million in add-ons.
Dardjim developed through the youth academies of Copenhagen and Aarhus before transferring to RB Salzburg in August 2023 for €3 million. He has made 57 appearances for RB Salzburg to date, contributing 6 goals and 5 assists, during which time he was loaned out to Levlin and Wolfsburg for further development.
During his loan spell at Wolfsburg, Dagim gradually adapted to the pace of the Bundesliga. Transfermarkts show that he made 30 appearances for Wolfsburg, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists.
After the signing was completed, Hoffenheim's sporting general manager, Andreas Schickel, commented: "Adam is a gifted young player. With his excellent skills and amazing speed, he became our top target that best fits the team's needs. At only 20 years old, he has enormous potential and has already accumulated a wealth of international experience at both the club and national team levels. His experience playing for Wolfsburg last season has also given him a deep understanding of the Bundesliga."
Dardijm stated, "I am very much looking forward to my time at Hoffenheim. I know very well that Hoffenheim has always provided development opportunities for young players. Joining Hoffenheim was a decision I made after careful consideration, and I am eager to find my place in the team as soon as possible. I will do my best to work with everyone to achieve great results."
