Bosh warned Wimbanyama to be wary of blood clots: Make sure to take your medication on time.

August 4th - According to ESPN, NBA legend Chris Bosh recently discussed Victor Wimbledon's blood clot problem. He used his own experience to remind Wimbledon that he must strictly adhere to the treatment plan.

“Take your medication on time,” Bosh said, adding that Wembanyama and his team need to monitor his condition to prevent a recurrence of the blood clot, “because if it happens again, the consequences could be very serious. After my second blood clot, I was never able to play again.”

In February 2025 , Wahlbanyama was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder, which ended his 2024-25 season prematurely. After treatment, he was cleared to resume basketball activities in July 2025 and played 64 games last season , helping the Spurs reach the NBA Finals.

Bosh emphasized that Wembanyama cannot ignore potential risks due to his rapid return to competition. Earlier this year, Bosh suffered another pulmonary embolism, nearly losing his life. He admitted that the blood clot problem may require lifelong management, and that he had thought he was cured, but that was not the case.

The Spurs closely monitored Wabben Yama's health throughout the season. He revealed that he was devastated when he first learned he had blood clots because he didn't know how long he would need to recover, but he later adjusted his mindset and viewed the experience as a challenge in his life.

Currently, with the help of a professional team of trainers, therapists, doctors, and surgeons, Wenban Yama is continuously monitoring his physical condition and managing his illness to ensure the long-term continuation of his health and career.
