Counter Strike 2: Former Fluxo head coach tacitus officially joins Imperial..

Curaçao-based Counter Strike 2 (CS2) esports club Imperial announced on Tuesday via their official X (Twitter) account that former Fluxo coach tacitus has officially joined the team.

According to Imperial's official statement, tacitus will immediately replace zakk as the team's new head coach.

This is tacitus' first job since leaving Fluxo in February.

Previously, the 26-year-old Brazilian coach's team suffered early exits in the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Rio Americas Qualifiers and two domestic offline tournaments, causing their VRS ranking to drop from 38th to 63rd, prompting management to make another round of adjustments.

His position was subsequently taken over by Juve, who previously won the 2023 ESL Premiership Spring title with Into The Breach (ITB). He recently helped Fluxo win BetBoom RUSH B! Summit Part Four.

Imperial enjoyed a promising start to the new season after announcing the signing of former Legacy AWP-er saadzin a month ago.

At that time, the team won CCT South America Series #3 and Thunderpick World Championship South America Series #2. However, their performance has since declined.

Imperial subsequently finished as runners-up to Fluxo in BetBoom RUSH B! Summit Part Four; lost to BESTIA Academy in the Round of 16s of CCT South America Series #4; and finished 5th-6th in the StarLadder StarSeries Fall South America Closed Qualifiers.
