Herro on joining the Bucks: I'm not concerned about the contract, I just want to win more games.

August 9th - According to the Associated Press, Tyler Herro hasn't given much thought to his contract since joining his hometown team, the Milwaukee Bucks . The 26- year-old guard is more interested in helping his team achieve more wins in the new season than his future destination .

This offseason, he joined the Bucks from the Miami Heat as part of the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade. Herro currently has one year remaining on his contract, and if he does not sign an extension, he will become a free agent after the 2026-27 season.

“ I’m really not worried about that right now, ” Herro said at his youth basketball camp. “ This is a new beginning for me, the coaching staff, and the whole team. I don’t think it should be a burden for anyone. ”
