Paris Saint-Germain announced the signing of Belgian star winger Mika Götz

French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced the signing of 21-year-old Belgian striker Mika Godts from Ajax.

The two sides signed a five-year contract that will last until 2031, and Goetz will wear the number 22 jersey for Paris Saint-Germain in the new season.

Winger Götz, a product of Anderlecht's youth academy, quickly rose to prominence after joining Dutch giants Ajax in early 2023. After honing his skills in the youth teams, Götz has exploded in the last two seasons, becoming one of the most watched attackers in European football thanks to his excellent dribbling, breakthrough, and finishing abilities.

Last season, Goetz made 44 appearances for Ajax in all competitions, scoring 17 goals and providing 15 assists, becoming only the third player in the club's history since 2010 to achieve "15+15" in a single season, a truly outstanding performance.

At the national team level, Goetz has represented Belgium at various youth levels and was first selected for the Belgian senior national team in March of this year, and has made two appearances so far.

After signing the contract, Götz expressed his excitement and determination to join a top club: "I am incredibly proud to join one of the world's best clubs. I can't wait to wear this jersey and step onto the Parc des Princes pitch, and I will do my best to repay the trust placed in me by the club's management and head coach Luis Enrique."
