The CS2: FERJEE-hosted college tournament has been confirmed to be held on Brazil's largest warship.

We've seen plenty of stadiums as event venues; they're fully equipped, and when the stands are full, the atmosphere is incredible. Hundreds of thousands of people cheering and shouting—it's a truly awe-inspiring scene. But if it were on the vast ocean, I wonder if the players would get seasick? The history of esports has been revolutionary. Once considered a game that poisons the mind, now the Brazilian Navy is willing to cooperate in hosting CS events—it sounds unbelievable.

It's baffling how the Rio de Janeiro State Esports Association (FERJEE) went to such lengths, deploying Brazil's largest warship, the NAM-Atlântico (A-140), to host the upcoming tournament. And it's not even a global event; it's just a UniCup: Arena-Gamer college tournament with a total prize pool of 2500 reais, half of which the champion takes home. Since it's an offline event, viewers can't watch any live streams. Undeniably, this military cooperation further strengthens the recognition of esports.

Standing 30 meters tall and covering an area of 6,000 square meters, this ship has hosted esports competitions before, including Valorant, League of Legends, and EA FC 26. Furthermore, it also hosted the finals of the Lotus Challenge, a women's esports tournament, in 2025. Who would have thought that a high school student would step onto a warship even faster than traditional sports stars?
