Louis de la Fuente: We are very happy and excited, and we are also very grateful for everyone's support.

In the third round of the UEFA Nations League, Spain defeated the Czech Republic 3-1 at the Carlos Taltiré Stadium in Oviedo. After the match, Spain's national team coach Luis de la Fuente gave a media interview and summarized the team's performance.

Luis de la Fuente said: "We played very well in the first half and completely controlled the game. In the second half, the substitutions did not make the team better. This has nothing to do with the individual players, because substitutions themselves can affect the rhythm and flow of the game. Affected by these factors, the team's sharpness and fluidity in the game also decreased."

"When conditions permit, we will do our best to protect and adjust our players so that they can be in the best physical condition for the next game. If we can get 12 points during this international break, we will have achieved our goal and will naturally be satisfied."

"We always prioritize the players' health, but winning the game is equally important. The key to this game is for the team to perform well. We won't get home until about 3 a.m., and we have to train again the next day, then set off again on Monday. Therefore, we must take good care of the players so that they can play in the best condition. Finding a balance between competitive performance and player health is indeed very difficult."

"Today's match made us more acutely aware of the harsh realities of international football. At this level, teams must excel in every detail to have any chance of winning. A single lapse in concentration can lead to conceding a goal or even losing the game. Therefore, we must always strive to improve and continuously raise our standards."

"We are currently on a 42-match unbeaten streak in official matches. Of course, we cannot be completely satisfied with this result, because we faced considerable pressure at certain stages of today's match, which is not a situation we often encounter. In this level of competition, you have to strive for near perfection at all times to have any chance of winning. Any lapse in concentration can cost you, and every national team is very strong."

“We are very happy and excited, and we are deeply moved by the support, love and enthusiasm that everyone has given us. The city of Oviedo has truly stood behind the Spanish team with its actions, and I am incredibly proud to have such loyal and passionate fans.”
