Croatian national team coach Slaven Bilic attended the post-match press conference after the team's UEFA Nations League third round match against England.
Slaven Bilic said: "After a game like this, it's hard for me to find anything positive to say. We are very disappointed, and we feel sorry for the kids, the fans, and ourselves. We are in more pain than anyone else, but the game is over, and we have to accept the result."
"After losing 0-7, we can certainly discuss it from a footballing perspective. But the facts are very clear: England dominated us in every aspect of the game. They are stronger, faster, and more aggressive than us; in every aspect, they outperformed us."
"When we lose physical duels time and time again and concede goals in a row, the team's focus and desire to win will gradually be affected. It is indeed difficult to accept such a situation easily."
"At halftime, I said I didn't think the team could turn the game around. Even if we lost 0-4 in the end, I could accept it because I knew the mental state of both teams at that time."
"England played in a style that was basically the same as when they faced the Czech Republic and Spain. We had prepared for their attacking characteristics before the match, but they still broke through the defense time and time again in the ways we expected, which is perhaps the most unacceptable thing."
"Whether in life, football, or work, you need enough motivation to succeed. Our players have always had that energy, otherwise they wouldn't have been able to achieve what they have in the past. But unfortunately, we didn't show that energy in tonight's game."
