George Kocholashvili appeared at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Sports City on Wednesday noon and gave a press conference to the media.
The midfielder, who had just completed his duties with the Georgian national team, said: "It was indeed a long international break, with many matches played, but I'm back with the team now. We've been training intensely to prepare for the upcoming games, and this is a home game for me."
"When the competition resumes after a two- or three-week hiatus, it always takes time to readjust. However, we can't dwell too much on the past. Instead, we need to return in top form, maintain our competitive spirit, and deliver strong performances in training to prepare for continuing to score points. Our next opponents won't give up easily; their squad is young and possesses great talent."
"In the locker room, we don't think about much else but focus on the daily training. The game starts from the moment we start training, so what we need to do now is to complete the training for the day, be in the best condition for the game, and strive for a good result. Although the training time is limited each day, our lives are always inseparable from football. If the team needs me, I am ready to play at any time, and when I will play depends on the head coach's choice."
Speaking about their next opponent, the Georgian midfielder said, "We'll be facing a team that won't back down easily. I've spoken with Iborra before, so I know a bit about them. Their squad is very young and has good talent, and they'll definitely try to make us uncomfortable. But we need to focus on ourselves, maintain a competitive spirit from the start of training, and carry that attitude through to the end of the match."
Finally, when discussing the team's recent competitive state, George Kocholashvili said: "I really like the way everyone competes in every training session. What impresses me most is that everyone maintains a high level of commitment from the start of training to the end of the game. Football is never a one-man game; the teammates fighting on the field, as well as those waiting to come on and ready at any time, are all very important forces for the team."
