Official statement: Australian sniper Chelleos has parted ways with Sashi.

Michael Hawkins (ID: chelleos) recently confirmed on social media that he will no longer play for Team Sashi. Surprisingly, this comes just two days after chelleos joined Sashi.

“Sashi isn’t a good fit for me,” he wrote on the X platform. “Wish me luck! Does anyone need a command sniper? Or am I going to play in an offline tournament in Australia? I don’t have a formal contract with Sashi.”

According to sources at HLTV, Chelleos is currently training with Frederick Gilstrand (ID: acoR). It's worth noting that his arrival is to fill the void left by acoR's relegation to the bench.

26-year-old Chelleos is from Australia and has played for several top CS teams, including Seadoggs, madlikewizards, Athletico, and Paradox. He also played for Rooster for the first time from 2020 to 2021, during which he played on 247 maps and participated in 6495 rounds, with an average rating of 1.18.

In October 2022, chelleos chose to return to Rooster's team. To date, he has played 525 maps and participated in 11,177 rounds for Rooster, with an average rating of 1.15, and won the ECL S49 Oceania Championship with the team.

It is currently unclear where Chelleos will go next. With Chelleos' departure, Sashi's current roster is tentatively set as follows:

Rifleman: Tynan Potel (ID: TjP)

Penetrator: Jordan Bajic (ID: Hatz)

Free agent: Rasmus Nordford (ID: Zyphon)

Rifleman: Nguyen An Dong (ID: Anlelele)

Coach: Nicola Petersen (ID: HUNDEN)

Substitute: Frederick Gilstrand (ID: acoR)

Substitute: Casper Jensen (ID: Cabbi)

Substitute: Lucas Bode Valssels (ID: Beccie)
