Lewis Dobbin: This was a very tough match, and our opponents gave us a lot of difficulties.

Lewis Dobby was delighted that Southampton finally broke their winless away league run. Southampton displayed a tenacious fighting spirit in the Championship, ultimately securing a 1-0 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road. Dobby returned to the starting lineup and played for 82 minutes. Just before the 60th minute, Kuki Matsuki scored the winning goal from close range inside the penalty area.

This victory marks Southampton's continuation of their good form after the international break. Following their win in the South Coast derby at St. Mary's Stadium three days earlier, this is another league victory, and their second consecutive clean sheet demonstrates the team's growing resilience under pressure under Toda Ekert's management.

Lewis Dobbin said: "This should be our first away win of the season, and we should have won this a long time ago. I'm glad to see the whole team hold on until the end tonight and not give up easily. It was a very tough game, and the opponents gave us a lot of trouble."

“Playing here is always difficult, with strong opponents, but tonight we showed a different side of the team. Not every game is a pleasant experience; sometimes we need to show enough resilience, withstand the pressure, and persevere to the end.”

Speaking about the large number of fans who still showed up to support the team during their midweek trip to Norfolk, Lewis Dobbin added: "You can see how strong the cohesion of this club is from the away stands tonight, and the support the fans gave us away from home was impressive. It's not an easy journey here, but they still filled the stands, which touched us deeply. I'm glad the team was able to get three points in the end to reward their efforts."

"When you hear the fans chanting for the team from the stands and we're doing everything we can to hold on and maintain our lead, their cheers become an extra source of motivation. Tonight, it was that support that kept us going until the final whistle, and I believe they will continue to cheer for the team throughout the season."
