Kristaps Porzingis' health is still pending, and the Warriors have announced an indefinite hiatus.

October 16th - According to ESPN , the Golden State Warriors officially announced that center Kristaps Porzingis will remain out indefinitely due to personal health issues. However, he will remain with the team and participate in related team activities.

Kristaps Porzingis recently revealed on social media that he is actively working with doctors and experts to recover his health as soon as possible. He stated that his condition is gradually improving, and although patience is still required, he believes he will soon be back in good shape.

Before training camp began, Porzingis had already called Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy to inform the team that he would be unable to report on time. He subsequently missed the team's trip to Hawaii and the previous five preseason games.

Currently, Porzingis has not been cleared to participate in training, and his specific return date remains uncertain. The Warriors stated that they will update his recovery training schedule, game status, and subsequent timetable in due course. The team's regular season game against the Lakers will be held on October 21st .

Kristaps Porzingis played for the Atlanta Hawks and the Golden State Warriors last season, appearing in only 34 games. This summer, the Warriors signed him to a two-year, $ 40 million contract, of which only $ 3 million of his $ 20 million salary for next season is guaranteed.
