In Game 3, the Spurs erupted as they narrowly defeated the Knicks, pulling one back in the series.

June 9 - According to the Associated Press, San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wimbledonama helped his team defeat the New York Knicks 115-111 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, bringing the series score to 1-2.

After missing a buzzer-beating game-winner in Game 2, Wambanyama quickly recovered by adjusting his mindset. "I really tried to relax," he said. "The playoffs are like a whirlwind. It's hard to stay focused, and sometimes I even felt like I didn't need to watch the game film at all. I just needed a little rest to let my brain cool down."

He started the game on fire, making his first two shots and scoring 32 points in total. He scored 9 points in the first five minutes, including an alley-oop dunk and a fast break score, quickly helping the Spurs establish their rhythm.

Throughout the game, Wambanouma delivered a well-rounded performance on both ends of the court. He not only hit long-range shots but also provided crucial assists and blocks at key moments. His consistent free throw shooting in the fourth quarter made him a key contributor to widening the score gap for his team. He also contributed 8 rebounds , 6 assists, and 3 blocks.

" I think none of us were surprised by his outstanding performance, and we expected him to play strongly and actively engage in the offense, " said Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson.
