With the 2026 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) being held in Daejeon, South Korea, Riot Games has officially announced that it will host the first-ever MSI Fan Festa concurrently with the event.
This offline extravaganza, which integrates esports, gaming culture, and urban tourism, is scheduled to take place from June 28 to July 12 at the Daejeon Convention Center, aiming to create a comprehensive and immersive entertainment experience for global players and local residents.
As a core peripheral event, the Fan Festival will be held from 3 pm to 8 pm daily during the elimination rounds from July 3rd to 6th and July 8th to 12th at the nearby Hanguang Square in the World Expo Science Park.
This fan festival perfectly blends esports with the League of Legends universe, and the event will feature a special "Rock and Vayne's Demon Forest" themed experience zone, closely aligned with the latest Season 2 of League of Legends.
Players can not only delve into the backstory and weapons of the new hero Locke, but also interact closely with top cosplayers on site. The highly anticipated "2025 World Championship Skins" for the legendary team T1, commemorating their three-peat, will also be revealed exclusively for the first time during the event.
To better integrate the event into the local community, Daejeon will collaborate with landmark buildings to create a spectacular media facade light show at night using the 90-meter-high Hangwang Tower, where Teemo mushrooms, the MSI logo, and the championship trophy will illuminate the city's night sky.
On July 10th and 11th, just before the finals, Riot Games' game development team will also be on-site to interact with fans who love the game, bringing this grand event that blends esports and urban culture to a climax.
