In ranked matches, casual players enjoy the most direct visual experience. They can't truly appreciate the thrill of killing someone visually. During the laning phase, there are always vehicles coming at them. Even marksmen still crave the explosive, unbelievable visuals of their actions, right? This is because casual players prioritize maximum damage output. Since the "Child of the Flow" (a character class) doesn't offer emotional value, it's no surprise that they're ignored.
In high-level matches and peak tournaments, the requirements are mechanics, strength, and matchmaking. Facing opponents with superior awareness, the marksman's survival rate is paramount. Finding a way to deal with this is crucial; without survivability, how can you deal damage? The Yuanliu marksman's wave clearing technique is quite effective, directly penetrating the minion wave to hit enemies. Positioning becomes key. The ultimate skill doesn't need much use; it's mostly used for last-hitting minions or pushing towers, preventing enemies from escaping and continuing to whittle down the tower. Furthermore, the second skill can be used for escaping. It offers various abilities like breaking bases, penetration, and displacement. Other marksmen need to split their skills into several, but when ambushed, two fingers are almost not enough to press all the buttons. Combined into one, it's a versatile skill for chasing and finishing off enemies.
Early game uses basic skills, later game focuses on ultimate abilities for damage output.
After clearing the minion wave, it's time to run into the jungle and steal monsters. Thanks to the knockback effect of the first and second skills, even without sustain items, you can knock jungle monsters back, preventing them from getting close and attacking, thus maintaining your health. Overall, the core is the first and second skills; the ultimate isn't very useful. Don't forget the logic of the power spike. Since your attack power isn't fully stacked, the ultimate is designed for attrition warfare. In the late game, your damage output increases significantly, allowing you to switch to the ultimate. Two uses are enough to instantly kill squishy targets. If you encounter danger, please don't panic. Use the first skill to interrupt it, land immediately, and escape. Damage is important, but survival is always the priority.
The essence of the Child of the Stream lies in its passive options, including health, attack speed, and cooldown reduction. For marksmen, Swiftness is a good fit, and the Lightning Dagger provides a movement speed bonus. For a more mindless playstyle, choose Piercing Heart; although its early-game impact is low, at least you won't forget to switch to the passive. For detail-oriented players, perfectly execute the sliding effect of the second skill; it must hit a unit to trigger. Pro players will hold onto it for crucial survival.
