Tottenham Hotspur have officially announced the signing of Sandro Tonali.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has officially announced the signing of Italian international midfielder Sandro Tonali, following work permit approval.  

Club sporting director John Langer said: "Sandro Tonali is one of the best midfielders in Europe, and we are delighted to welcome him to the club. He is not only technically gifted, but also has an excellent ability to read the game and the mentality and will to continue to improve in high-intensity, high-pressure environments."  

“Sandro Tonali has considerable experience in top European leagues and international competitions, and his arrival will inject new energy into the team’s midfield. I believe his running coverage, physical involvement, and enthusiasm in matches will quickly win over the fans. Everyone is looking forward to his debut for the team.”  

Head coach Roberto De Zerbi said: "Sandro Tonali is an outstanding player, and this signing is of great significance to the club. I have been following him for a long time because he comes from the youth system of my hometown team Brescia. I am very happy to be able to work with him now."  

"Given his ability, many clubs expressed interest in him this summer, but he insisted on joining Tottenham Hotspur. I believe his arrival will have a positive impact on the team and will be loved by the fans."  

After completing the signing, Sandro Tonali said: "I am very happy to be here. Everything felt good when I arrived at the club today. There were rumors that several clubs were interested in me, but in fact, I only had one clear choice from the beginning."
