Liquid relegated sniper Ultimate to the bench, with Jorko taking his place.

Liquid's CS2 team confirmed on Thursday that sniper Roland Tomkowiak (ID: ultimate) has been relegated to the bench, effective immediately.

Ultimate, 22, is from Poland and has played for several teams including AGO, PGE Turow, NOM, and Illuminar during his professional career. Since taking over from Casper Muller (ID: cadiaN) in Liquid's starting lineup in July 2024, he has played a total of 331 maps and participated in 7146 rounds across various competitions, with an average rating of 1.02. His best result with the team was a 3rd-4th place finish in FISSURE Season 2.

Ultimate's successor is in place.

Along with confirming the transfer of Ultimate, Liquid signed Georgy Mitjev (ID: Jorko) from FOKUS. He will replace Ultimate as a member of Liquid and will compete in the BLAST Bounty Season 2 qualifiers from July 21 to 26.

Jorko is only 17 years old and previously played for CS teams such as Quixal, MOUZ NXT, and CPH Wolves. Since joining FOKUS in February of this year, he has played a total of 109 maps, participated in 2363 rounds, and achieved an average personal rating of 1.07.

After completing the transfer, Jorko said through the X platform: "I can't express in words how happy and grateful I am for this opportunity."
