Looking back on their journey to the final, Tuchel likened the first two knockout rounds to playing tough FA Cup away games in January during the Premier League season. He explained that in the round of 32 and the round of 16, when facing adversity, bad weather, or unfavorable refereeing decisions, the only task for the teams is to find a way to win the game.

“If you want to eventually stand at Wembley Stadium, you have to win the games. Don’t get knocked out in January or February, and then nobody will ask you how you did it,” Tuchel said. “Then the exciting months of April and May come, things get easier, and that’s when you have your identity and you have to play freely.”

Regarding the widely circulated slogan among England fans, "Football is coming home," Tuchel said he fully understands the sentiment and is eager to make it a reality. He pointed out: "England is the birthplace of football, and Wembley is the cathedral of world football, which is why it should come home, but we still have a few steps to take before that."

Finally, Tuchel revealed that the team has distanced itself from the past matches and is no longer discussing the details of the previous game against Mexico, but is instead focusing all its energy on the Norwegian team.
