Official: Belgian midfield star De Kite has officially joined Hoffenheim.

Hoffenheim announced on Friday the signing of Belgian midfield star Nathan De Kite. De Kite, who transferred from Anderlecht, is expected to sign a contract until June 30, 2031.

Regarding the specific transfer fee, media reports from various countries differ slightly. Belgian media insists that De Kate's transfer fee was €20 million plus €4 million in add-ons. German media, however, suggest the actual figure should be €17 million with additional bonuses.

The 17-year-old De Kite is a product of Anderlecht's youth academy and will make his first-team debut in the Europa League on February 21, 2025. To date, he has made 53 appearances for Anderlecht, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists.

Thanks to his consistent performance at the club level, De Kite was called up to the Belgian national team for the first time in March. On March 29, he made his national team debut in a friendly match between Belgium and the United States.

After the signing was completed, Hoffenheim's sporting general manager, Andreas Schickel, commented: "We are very pleased to have signed Nathan De Kate. The fact that a player as sought-after in Europe has ultimately chosen to join Hoffenheim proves that we are on the right track."
