Le Mans announced on their official website on Sunday that they have signed Central African Republic international forward Louis Mafouta from Guingamp.

About Louis Mafouta

Mafouta played for Beaumont's youth academy as a child but was later released. He subsequently played for Saint-Ouen-l'Aumoné, Panserraikos, Senlis, Chambly, and Grasse.
In August 2020, Mafouta joined Neuchâtel Xamàx on a free transfer.
During his time at the Swiss club, Mafouta's impressive performances attracted the attention of several mid-to-small French top-flight clubs.
In January 2022, Mafouta joined Metz on-loan, but he failed to capitalize on his opportunity.
Over the next three-year spell, Mafouta successively played for Quevilly-Rouen and Amiens.
In the summer of 2025, Mafouta moved to Guingamp for €500,000.
Last season, Mafouta made 36 appearances for the Ligue 2 club in all competitions, scoring 15 goals and providing 3 assists, winning the Silver Boot award.
