Utah Jazz guard Trey Alexander left the Summer League game injured; details of the injury have not yet been released.

July 14 - According to the Associated Press, Utah Jazz guard Trey Shai Gilgeous - Alexander suffered an unexpected injury during an NBA Summer League game against the Chicago Bulls. He was subsequently stretchered off the court.
With just over two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Alexander drove to the basket and made contact with Bulls player Caleb Wilson . After releasing the shot, he moved behind the basket, clutching his lower back or abdomen, and then collapsed to the ground in pain.
Medical personnel immediately arrived at the scene to treat him, and 23- year-old Alexander was eventually carried off the Thomas & Mack Center court on a stretcher. The Jazz have not yet released details of his injury.
Alexander just signed a two-way contract with the Jazz last week. Previously, he played three seasons at Creighton University before ending his college career early to pursue a professional career. In the 2024-25 season, he won the G League Rookie of the Year award and played 24 games for the Denver Nuggets; last season, he also played 9 games for the New Orleans Pelicans.
