After joining Eintracht Frankfurt in 2024, Amanda made 42 appearances in two seasons with the team, participating in the Europa League and helping them finish third in the Bundesliga.
In the 2025-26 season, Amenda had a breakout year, playing 5 Champions League matches for Eintracht Frankfurt. As a Swiss international, he has made 7 appearances for the national team and was selected for Switzerland's squad for the 2026 World Cup, helping them reach the quarterfinals.
Speaking about the transfer, Amanda said in an interview: "It is an honor to come here. After my first call with the head coach, I felt his trust and I really appreciate the club's projects. This is a very good step for me."
Regarding his technical strengths and future, Amanda added: "I like defending, but I also like to participate in passing the ball. I am very calm when I have the ball, which can help the team. I am eager to win, can't wait to see my teammates and fans, and I am really looking forward to playing in this beautiful stadium and hoping to score goals here."
