Arnold believes Mourinho will lead Real Madrid to the title.

Trent Alexander-Arnold recently returned to Real Madrid with his teammates to participate in training, preparing for the preseason and the new season. In an interview, Alexander-Arnold stated that he believes new manager Jose Mourinho will lead the team to victory.

The 63-year-old Mourinho has officially returned to manage La Liga giants Real Madrid. During his coaching career, Mourinho led Real Madrid to the La Liga title in the 2011/12 season.

Players currently training with Arnold include Gonzalo Garcia, Camavinga, and Raul Asensio.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, the 27-year-old Real Madrid defender, said, "Everything is going very well so far. The weather is very hot and the training intensity is very high. We are currently in the preseason preparation stage, which is what we expected. There are a lot of high-intensity training sessions, and quite a few sessions with two training sessions a day, so so far, the overall training rhythm has been very tight."

“I’ll have a few weeks to rest in the summer, and then a few more weeks to get back into running and getting fit. When preseason training starts, I need to be back in good physical condition. So, I’m ready and excited to be back with the team.”

Speaking about returning to manage Real Madrid under manager Jose Mourinho, Arnold said, "I have always admired this manager. I have played against his teams several times in the past, and it is an honor to work with him and his coaching staff now."

“His training requirements are very strict and the overall intensity is very high. He has high standards for every detail. I look forward to learning more from each other as we get to know each other better, and he will be able to teach us more.”

Arnold continued, "The whole team is willing to learn and eager to improve. I believe he will be a great help to us and lead us to win the championship in the new season."

"The most important thing right now is to recover our physical fitness, and at the same time understand the coach's football philosophy and how he wants us to play. We must understand what tactical system the team will adopt in the new season and how to show ourselves in the game."

In addition, Arnold said, "I haven't played a competitive match for a while, so it feels great to be back on the field. I hope to lay a solid foundation through preseason preparation and be ready for a successful new season for the team."
