Porto officially announced the signing of South Korean international Hwang In-beom, with a transfer fee of up to 5 million euros.

Portuguese giants Porto officially announced on Monday that South Korean international Hwang In-beom has transferred from Feyenoord to join the club. The two sides signed a three-year contract with an option to extend for another year.

Multiple sources have confirmed that Hwang In-beom's transfer fee is €4.5 million plus €500,000 in add-ons. He will wear the number 16 jersey for Porto, bolstering manager Francesco Farioli's midfield depth.

Hwang In-beom, 29, came through the Daejeon Citizens youth academy and made his first-team debut in the K1 League on March 21, 2015. He subsequently played for Vancouver Whitecaps, Rubin Kazan, FC Seoul, Olympiacos, and Red Star Belgrade, winning two Serbian Super League titles and one Serbian Cup.

In September 2024, Hwang In-beom transferred to Feyenoord for €7 million. To date, he has made 54 appearances for Feyenoord, scoring 4 goals and providing 8 assists.

After completing the transfer, Hwang In-beom excitedly said, "I am incredibly excited to sign with one of the best clubs in the world. I love Porto very much, and it is an honor to represent this club and this city."
