Adeyemi officially joins Barcelona after signing a 5-year contract.

La Liga giants Barcelona officially announced today the signing of German winger Adyemi to a five-year contract.

The 24-year-old Adyemi previously played for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, making 28 appearances in the 2025/26 season, contributing 7 goals and 5 assists. He also scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in the Champions League.

In an interview, Adeyemi said, "I came here to win the championship. I think Barcelona is the best club in the world because of its glorious history, the many top players who have played here, and its unique and deep relationship with Catalonia. From the first day I arrived here, I felt that this is a club that is different from others."

“I have spoken with head coach Flick, and I trust him completely. He told me what this team needs, and I am ready to do whatever the team needs me to do, and I will help the team achieve our goals. Flick can trust me, and I will give my all for him, the team, and the fans.”

On the other hand, Barcelona has been actively engaged in training recently and will participate in several friendly matches to prepare for the new La Liga season.
