Flick believed that Adeyemi's full strength had not yet been revealed.

Flick stated that new signing Adyemi's potential has not yet been fully realized, and he believes the winger will become a key player for the team.

The 24-year-old Adyemi previously played for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, making 28 appearances in the 2025/26 season, contributing 7 goals and 5 assists. He also scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in the Champions League.

Just last month, Adeyemi joined Barcelona and signed a five-year contract.

Barcelona coach Flick said, "I think Adyemi has far more potential than he has shown so far. He can definitely make better use of his strengths. However, he has only just completed the first week of training, which is normal."
