Since its founding in 1989 , the Minnesota Timberwolves have cultivated many outstanding scorers. Looking back at the team's all-time top five scorers, Kevin Garnett still holds the top spot with 19,201 points.

1. Kevin Garnett ( 19201 points)
Garnett played 12 seasons for Minnesota , averaging over 20 points per game in nine of those seasons . As the fifth overall pick in the 1995 NBA draft , Garnett ranks first in several franchise statistics. After leaving the Timberwolves to join the Celtics and win a championship in 2008 , he briefly played for the Nets before ultimately returning to Minnesota for a significant comeback.

2. Karl - Anthony Towns ( 13,121 points )
Karl-Anthony Towns, the number one overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft, spent his first nine seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves. His exceptional shooting ability made him one of the league's most dangerous stretch bigs, and he ranks second in franchise history with 13,121 points. Towns was a four-time All-Star during his time with the Timberwolves.

3. Anthony Edwards ( 10854 points )
Edwards ranked among the top three on the Timberwolves' all-time scoring list after six seasons with the team. He became the third youngest player in NBA history to reach 10,000 points, behind only LeBron James and Kevin Durant . In the 2025-26 season, Edwards averaged a career-high 28.8 points per game, ranking third in the league's scoring list, and has been selected to the All-Star team four times.

In the 2014 NBA Draft, Wiggins was selected by the Cavaliers and subsequently traded to the Timberwolves. During his six seasons with the team, Wiggins averaged 19.7 points per game and played all 82 regular season games three times.

Mitchell played for the Timberwolves for 10 seasons, including their first season in the NBA , and his long-term contributions earned him a place among the top five scorers in franchise history.
