Former Virtus.pro (VP) ace In-Game Leader (IGL) Qikert, announced via his official X (Twitter) account on Tuesday that he has parted ways with Russian Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team, Color.
According to his statement, although he gave his all for Color, a combination of team issues and the need to compete while injured, which hampered his performance, led to his decision to leave. Nevertheless, he holds no regrets about his initial choice to join the team.
Qikert added that he is now a free agent and welcomes inquiries from teams seeking a new In-Game Leader, though he is also open to playing other roles.
With this announcement, Qikert becomes the second player to part ways with Color recently.
Previously, the AWP-er m00n also left Color due to a transfer, though he was subsequently moved to the bench by his new team, magic, on the very same day.
The 27-year-old Qikert hails from Kazakhstan and has been a professional Counter Strike e-sport player since 2015, primarily playing as an AWP-er while also capable of acting as an In-Game Leader.
Earlier in his career, Qikert played for AVANGAR, Virtus.pro (VP), and Outsiders, and had a loan stint with Into The Breach (ITB); his achievements include victories at the DreamHack Rio Major, Flashpoint Season 2, and the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major.
He later played for PARIVISION and MIBR, though his performance trended downward over time.
In February 2026, Qikert joined 1Win alongside his aforementioned former teammate m00n, helping the team secure a runner-up finish in the European Pro League Season 8.
In August 2026, Qikert and his teammates moved to Color; they participated in qualifiers for various Tier 2 and Tier 3 tournaments but failed to achieve good results.
