League of Legends: TES's new top laner encounters visa issues; LCK suffers a shock defeat against Vietnam at the Asian Games.

This year's League of Legends World Championship will be held in the United States. The FIFA World Cup has been plagued by problems, with a large number of players and teams being denied entry due to visa issues, preventing them from participating.

When it comes to esports competitions, there haven't been too many problems so far. Veteran players have easily obtained visas, consistently playing abroad year after year. The only slight challenge is for newcomers, such as TES's top laner Zuian. He was reportedly rejected in the first round of visa interviews and is now submitting additional documents for a second interview. However, he has an official invitation from Riot Games and the backing of the LPL. Moreover, there has never been a case in many years where an LPL player missed an S-level competition due to visa issues. Top Esports fans don't need to worry too much.

In other news, there's an interview with IG's top laner, TheShy. His popularity is currently rising, and it's natural for people to strive for higher positions. He revealed the challenges he's facing in the new patch: Jayce has a low win rate, and winning the laning phase requires strong performances from the mid and bot lanes. Top lane champions need to be banned more often to create opportunities for him to shine; otherwise, it's very difficult to play effectively. When asked by a reporter who he hopes will be the first LPL player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, he frankly stated it would be himself. Netizens shouldn't underestimate TheShy; the Hall of Fame is essentially just a title to sell expensive skins. However, given his popularity, the possibility is indeed quite high.

This shows that LPL players' words and actions are not as bad as imagined. They are working hard and no longer relying on their seniority. On the other hand, in the LCK region, in the Asian Games warm-up matches, Zeka, the starting player, easily crushed the American team. The next day, it was Faker's turn to defeat the Vietnamese team.
