Counter Strike 2: Astralis reportedly planning to replace In-Game Leader HooXi and rifler jabbi..

Dust2 exclusively reported on Wednesday that Danish Counter Strike 2 (CS2) e-sports organization Astralis is reportedly planning to replace its In-Game Leader (IGL) HooXi and rifler jabbi.

According to the report, this decision appears linked to the fact that both players' contracts are set to expire at the end of this year; with contract extension negotiations stalled, this led Astralis to leaning towards parting ways with them.

Reportedly, jabbi’s contract expires in late November, while HooXi’s contract is expiring at the end of December.

It is worth mentioning that rifler Staehr’s contract was also originally scheduled to expire at the end of this year, but he signed an extension with Astralis in March 2025, keeping him with the team until 2027.

Nevertheless, the emergence of this rumour comes as a surprise, given that HooXi and jabbi recently helped the team win the Stake Ranked Episode 4 in Barcelona, thereby ending Astralis's seven-year trophy drought.

As for potential replacements, one player under consideration is siuhy, who recently left his team after spending three months on the bench.

The 24-year-old Polish IGL had previously stated that he decided to part ways with Liquid because he wanted to take on new challenges.

Following their victory in Barcelona, the Danish Counter Strike 2 (CS2) e-sports organization has broken into the global top 10 VRS rankings.

According to the latest projections from HLTV, they have effectively secured their qualification for the PGL Major in Singapore.
