Iñigo Perez: This victory was crucial for the team and is a well-deserved reward for the players' outstanding performance.

Villarreal's manager was very satisfied with his team's victory over Napoli in a top-tier European competition, securing three crucial points. After the match, head coach Iñigo Perez told the media that the win was significant for the team and a well-deserved reward for the players' performance.

Iñigo Perez said: "Napoli showed great competitiveness in the early stages of the game, and their first goal put us on the back foot. However, as the game progressed, we gradually found our rhythm, took control of the situation, and ultimately won the game."

"This victory has further convinced us of the correctness of our tactical philosophy. When the team not only achieves the desired result but also completes the game according to the predetermined plan, its significance goes far beyond the win or loss itself, and it will also motivate us to continue to adhere to our current development direction."

"The competition in the Champions League is extremely fierce, and every match is crucial. We must treat every game as a decisive battle and do our best to win three points, which is also our attitude in this match. When we faced Dortmund before, we understood that the team must have the ability to make flexible adjustments to cope with the various challenges of this competition. Although the result of that game was not ideal, we did not give up our football philosophy because of it, and this time, we finally paid off with our perseverance."

After leading Villarreal to their first Champions League victory of the season and securing three points, Inigo Pérez stated that the team should first enjoy the joy of the win before focusing on preparing for the La Liga matches. He said, "What we need to do now is celebrate this victory, and then we will put all our attention on Elche. As for the remaining Champions League matches, we will study them at the appropriate time. Since every Champions League match presents different challenges, our primary task right now is to be fully prepared for the league match this weekend."

“I really enjoyed this moment and loved the passionate atmosphere in the stadium. The excitement of football has always fascinated me, and tonight was undoubtedly an unforgettable night for the fans. We also managed to end the game with a victory. After all this, I feel very peaceful and joyful.”
