Ryan Sessegnon called on the team to remain united and work together to overcome the challenges ahead.

Following Fulham's 1-2 away defeat to Ipswich Town, Ryan Sessegnon called for team unity to face the challenges ahead. The full-back, returning to the squad, gave Fulham the lead with a brilliant shot. However, Ipswich Town scored two late goals to seal the victory for Fulham at Portman Road.  

After the match, Ryan Sessegnon said: "This is certainly not the result we expected before the match. In such a competitive game, we successfully took a 1-0 lead, but failed to hold on to our advantage and ultimately lost the game. This result is indeed hard to accept."  

"Undoubtedly, this game left us feeling very disappointed and we must reflect on our shortcomings. Going forward, we need to hold ourselves to higher standards, continuously improve, and work together as a team to move forward."  

After being overturned by Ipswich Town, Fulham failed to secure their first Premier League win of the season for the second consecutive time. Last month, when they faced Manchester United at Craven Cottage, they also conceded an equalizer in the 87th minute, with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.  

Ryan Sessegnon said: "The coach reminded us before the game that Ipswich's last two victories were both achieved with last-minute goals, and they did it again today. It's understandable that the team's morale is affected and everyone feels disappointed. However, we cannot stop because of this; we must continue to give our all and strive to win our first victory of the season."  

In the 10th minute of the second half, Ryan Sessegnon unleashed a brilliant low shot from outside the penalty area, successfully breaching the opponent's goal and scoring his first goal of the season. Speaking about his goal, Ryan Sessegnon said, "When you're operating outside the penalty area, you have to stay focused at all times. When Issa Diop cleared the ball to my feet, I knew I had to first control it well, and then decisively shoot. Fortunately, the ball eventually flew smoothly into the net."  

"In any case, we must further unite our efforts, encourage each other, and hold ourselves to higher standards. This season is bound to be full of challenges, so the whole team must work together and persevere to the end."
