Despite being surrounded by rumors of leaving the team, Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior has taken a positive attitude towards preparing for the new season.
Vinicius is currently training with Real Madrid's new manager, José Mourinho, and spoke about his experience working with the new coach in an interview with Real Madrid TV.
“The training went very well. I met with the new coach and new players, and everyone trained very hard,” Vinicius said in an interview. “Mourinho hopes that I can continue to be happy and play my own style of football, just like before.”
The 26-year-old Brazilian striker has been a key attacking player for Real Madrid in recent years, contributing 128 goals and 100 assists to date. This summer, he represented Brazil at the World Cup, becoming the team's top scorer with 4 goals.
Speaking about preseason training, Vinicius emphasized the importance of physical conditioning: "We must be physically prepared so that we can reduce injuries during the long season and ensure that everyone can play for the team."
Although Vinicius appeared relaxed, his contract with Real Madrid is in its final year, and the two sides have not yet reached an agreement on a renewal. Given that Real Madrid is determined not to see their star player leave on a free transfer next year, Premier League giants Arsenal are closely monitoring his situation and exploring the possibility of signing him.
