Joining Manchester's Geronimo Ruli: This is a wonderful start.

Argentine goalkeeper Gironimo Rulli recently joined Premier League giants Manchester City, signing a two-year contract. In an interview, Rulli stated that joining Manchester City is a wonderful start.

The 34-year-old Geronimo Rulli previously played for Marseille and made 29 appearances for them in the 2025/26 Ligue 1 season.

Gironimo Rulli said, "It was fantastic to see everyone, the fans, and the kids who scored a few goals. It's a wonderful start for me. My teammates created a fantastic atmosphere for me, and it's so sunny here; I hope I can bring sunshine with me."

It's worth mentioning that Gironimo Rulli previously participated in the 2026 World Cup with Argentina, and he also talked with his former Manchester City teammates about what it's like to play for the "Citizens".

Gironimo Rulli shared, "I've watched Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero play since I was a child, and I still remember that famous goal against Queens Park Rangers in 2012. In Argentina, we understand the football here and the Premier League, and we all really love Manchester City."

“I have a very good relationship with Alvarez, and we’ve talked a lot. Last week, he even told me about some good places to live.”

Gironimo Rulli also said, "When I told him I had the opportunity to join Manchester City, he told me to go for it, that it's one of the best clubs in the world and that I would definitely enjoy life there."
