Guardiola passionately supports Manchester City: "I am more determined than ever to stand with the team."

Pep Guardiola, the successful manager who just stepped down this summer, spoke out publicly after an independent commission found all allegations that Manchester City had violated Premier League financial rules over a nine-year period.

Guardiola offered his unwavering support to his former club and Abu Dhabi's owners, and addressed fans worldwide, saying, "We will get through this together."

Pep Guardiola, who has won 20 trophies during his ten years managing Manchester City, posted a statement on social media saying: "I want every Manchester City fan in the world to know that I am still here; and more determined than ever before."

“I have been, am, and will always stand behind my club, my boss, my president, Ferran, the players, the staff, Enzo (Maresca), and you, our unique fans. Let me make this clear: we will get through this together. I love you all.”

Guardiola's first two seasons in charge coincided with the investigation. Throughout the years-long investigation, the 55-year-old Guardiola repeatedly reiterated his trust in the management. In May of this year, he stated explicitly: "I believe in them. I have spoken with them and have complete faith in their character and the way they operate." Despite leaving his post this summer, he remains a global ambassador for City Football Group.

Manchester City has maintained its innocence and is preparing to appeal. Facing criticism from outsiders, including former chairman Bernstein's call for the current board to resign en masse, Guardiola's strong statement has undoubtedly injected a much-needed boost into Manchester City, who are at the center of the storm.
