It's true that frequently finishing as runner-up in competitions is quite remarkable. In competitive sports, there's a saying that the champion is number one, and the third-place finisher is happy to have made it into the top three. However, from the perspective of the runner-up, who is only one step away from the trophy, it's easy to get caught up in the frustration of mistakes and keep thinking about the process of the competition. If they had made a different decision or adopted a different approach, would the result have been different?
The first and third place winners enjoyed their victory, the applause, and their hard work to the end, escaping elimination and perfectly embodying the spirit of sportsmanship. But what did the second-place team get? A consolation trophy, yet they remained the loser throughout the final. Three groups shed tears: one of glory, one of frustration, and one of emotion.
The StarLadder Fall Season has come to an end. Aurora suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Vitality, leaving kyxsan feeling dejected. He previously played for Falcons, and even after switching to a new team, he has recently reached the finals six times in a row, only to be eliminated as runner-up each time, as if cursed.
He felt regretful for not winning the match, having witnessed the team's progress firsthand over the past few days. Unfortunately, he and the team didn't perform to their potential in the finals, missing out on the championship trophy. Vitality's victory was well-deserved. He concluded his post by thanking all supporters and preparing for the EPL.
