BLAST Slam 8 playoff roster finalized; four teams advance directly to the semifinals and the teams that will advance through the playoffs revealed.

The qualifiers for Dota 2's BLAST Slam 8 have concluded, and the list of teams participating in the knockout stage and the first-round matchups have been officially confirmed.

On the final day of the competition, the top teams from each group competed for rankings, while the second-place teams from each group battled it out in the qualifying rounds for the final spot in the next round.

In the qualifying rounds, PARIVISION and Team Spirit delivered outstanding performances, securing a bye in the first round of the playoffs and advancing directly to the winners' bracket semifinals.

PARIVISION displayed absolute dominance against Aurora, quickly winning the first game in just 27 minutes with a 33-3 score difference, and then winning the second game to defeat their opponent 2-0.

In another match, Team Spirit's new recruit Batyuk delivered an outstanding performance. In the decisive game, he used Dark Seer to create excellent teamwork, leading in economy throughout the game and helping his team defeat Team Yandex with key skill combos, securing a 2-1 victory.

In the do-or-die match of the qualifying rounds, 1win Team and LGD Gaming secured the final two spots for advancement. Facing OG, 1win Team rallied from a set down to win the next two, taking 24 and 28 minutes respectively to eliminate their opponents 2-1 and advance.

LGD Gaming played three games against GamerLegion. In the decisive game, player Wits used the Prophet and achieved a score of 11/2/9, with 949 gold per minute, leading the team to a 2-1 victory.

The first round of the playoffs will officially begin on October 8th. The first round matchups are: Team Yandex vs. LGD Gaming, and Aurora vs. 1win Team. The winning teams will advance to the upper bracket semifinals, where they will face PARIVISION and Team Spirit, who have already secured their spots.
