Spirit, along with PARIVISION and Aurora, have made a strong push into the BLAST SLAM VIII semifinals.

The second day of intense competition in the BLAST SLAM VIII playoffs has come to a close, with the four teams showcasing an extremely high level of competitive rivalry as they teetered on the brink of elimination and on their path to advancement.

Current TI champion Team Spirit, TI 2026 runner-up PARIVISION, and Southeast Asian powerhouse Aurora all performed steadily, successfully securing their spots in the top four and continuing their quest for the grand championship.

In the highly anticipated winners' bracket semifinals, Team Spirit demonstrated the tactical execution and resilience of a top-tier team. In the first game, they took an early lead thanks to the explosive performance of their dual cores, Larl (21 kills) and Yatoro (20 kills).

Despite Aurora's strong comeback in the second game, Spirit quickly adjusted their rhythm in the deciding game, finishing the match in just 47 minutes and advancing to the winners' bracket final with a 2-1 victory. They will face Team Yandex in a revenge match on the penultimate day of competition, vying for the first ticket to the grand final.

Both quarterfinal matches in the loser's bracket also featured impressive performances. Facing 1W's fierce offensive, PARIVISION demonstrated their deep experience after losing the first game.

Star player Satanic took over the game, and in the second game, he played Anti-Mage and achieved a rampage, delivering a perfect performance of 22 kills and 0 deaths. In the decisive game, he switched to Prophet and scored another 24 kills, leading the team to a strong 2-1 comeback and advancing to the next round.

After their loss in the upper bracket, Aurora displayed overwhelming dominance in the lower bracket. With a highly aggressive tanky three-core lineup in the first game and a steady economic snowball in the second, Aurora swept LGD 2-0, advancing smoothly to the next round of the lower bracket and keeping their championship hopes alive.

With this, the BLAST SLAM VIII championship landscape has been officially established, and the four teams that have advanced to the finals will continue to engage in an even more intense final battle in the remaining matches.
