LeBron James said he really enjoys being with his teammates.

After joining the Philadelphia 76ers, NBA legend LeBron James' performance in the new season has been highly anticipated. In an interview, LeBron James stated that the atmosphere on the team is excellent, and he is thoroughly enjoying training and spending time with his new teammates.

The Philadelphia 76ers will face the Boston Celtics in their next preseason game, followed by the defending champion New York Knicks in their first game of the 2026/27 NBA regular season.

"It's getting better every day now, and of course some days are a bit smoother than others. But when I come to the gym and am with these teammates, things definitely get a lot better," said LeBron James, 41.

"We have positive energy and a great team atmosphere. Obviously, basketball is a sport that brings us all together and is a lot of fun, so coming here to train every day is a joyful experience."

Besides LeBron James, how Edgecombe, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown will take on core roles has also attracted much attention.

When asked about how to cope with challenges on the court, LeBron James said, "I think it's always very important to be able to initiate the offense before the opponent's defense is set up. So as long as we can seize the opportunity and score early in transition, or launch an attack before the opponent's defense has set up, we should make the most of those opportunities."

“We have Edgecombe, Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown, so when they face a numerically superior defense or even a one-on-one advantage, they can quickly break through the opponent's defense, and it is difficult for the opponent to keep up with their speed and to contain them individually.”
