Monte's new roster is basically finalized, and the team has officially announced its return to the CS2 scene.

On October 14th local time, the Ukrainian esports club Monte officially confirmed its return to the CS2 scene. They reorganized three months after the original roster disbanded and announced a new five-man lineup and coaching staff.

According to the official announcement, Monte's new lineup will be led by 29-year-old Ukrainian veteran Viktor Orrudev (ID: sdy). The other four players are British rifleman Kay Watson (ID: CYPHER), Polish sniper Mateusz Verczewski (ID: mantuu), Danish rifleman Alexander Bro (ID: br0), and Ukrainian rifleman Vladislav Lichowski (ID: St0m4k).

On the coaching staff front, Monte has appointed former Complexity and Passion UA head coach Tian Kolzen (ID: Tc) to take the helm. The tactical analyst position is filled by James Macaulay (ID: JamezIRL), who previously coached several top CS2 teams including GX, Cloud9, and Wildcard.

While Monte officially announced its new roster, the dispute between Monte and former player Orimas Pipiras (ID: Bymas) remains unresolved. Bymas recently publicly accused Monte of owing him tens of thousands of dollars in salary and deserved sticker revenue sharing, and the controversy continues.

Commander/Rifleman: Viktor Oruzev (ID: sdy)

Rifleman: Kay Watson (ID: CYPHER)

Sniper: Mateusz Verchevsky (ID: mantuu)

Rifleman: Vladislav Lihoshva (ID: St0m4k)

Rifleman: Alexander Bro (ID: br0)

Head Coach: Tian Kolzen (ID: Tc)
