Fiorentina Football Club officially announced that head coach Paolo Vanoli has officially left his post.

The owners, management, and staff of Fiorentina Football Club would like to express their sincere gratitude to head coach Paolo Vanoli and his coaching team for their professionalism, passion, and courage in leading the first team through this season.  

Paul Vanoli and his team took over the team in November when it was winless and at the bottom of the table. Through sheer professionalism and a strong sense of belonging, they successfully revitalized the team, allowing it to reorient itself and turn the tide.  

In the history of the Italian top league, no team has ever successfully avoided relegation after such a difficult start, nor has any team ever secured survival after failing to win in the first 15 rounds. However, on this challenging path, the head coach and his team, through their continuous and tireless efforts, ultimately helped the club remain in Serie A.  

This partnership has now ended, but Fiorentina's gratitude for their achievements and respect for them as individuals and professionals will remain unchanged. Fiorentina president Giuseppe Commisso said: "I want to personally thank Paolo Vanoli and his entire coaching staff. They took over the team at the most difficult time of the season, when we were bottom of the table and had not yet won a game, but they showed strength, seriousness, and courage, helping the team to bounce back."
