Senesi aims to help Tottenham return to their rightful place.

Argentine defender Senesi will officially join Tottenham Hotspur in July. In an interview, the defender said he will do his best to make the fans proud and will also do his best to help the team get back to where it belongs.

The 29-year-old Senesi previously played for Bournemouth, making 37 appearances in the 2025/26 Premier League season and contributing 5 assists, helping the "Cherrys" secure a European qualification spot. In addition, Robertson, who has played for Liverpool for many years, is also set to join Tottenham Hotspur.

In an interview, Senesi said, "I will do my best to make the fans proud and help Tottenham Hotspur win honors. At the same time, I will do my best, work hard, and help the team get back to where it belongs."

“I like to control the ball, I like to keep the ball at my feet and try to help the team build attacks from the back, make the team play more aggressively, and at the same time, press high up the pitch as much as possible. I always want to push the ball forward. I don’t like to pass the ball too much across the field, but try to break through the opponent’s defense and make the team play more aggressively.”

Senesi shared, “I played against De Zerbi’s team when he was in charge of Brighton. I really liked the way his team played, so I’m really looking forward to working with them again. I met Romero in the Argentine national team, and I also played alongside Solanke and had some dealings with Bentancur. We were rivals in the Argentine youth tournament when we were young, so I know a few of the players on the team.”
