Counter Strike 2: Imperial is attempting to cancel AWP-er, try's transfer to Ukrainian club Passion UA..

Curaçao-based Counter Strike 2 (CS2) esports club Imperial announced on its official website on Thursday that it is attempting to cancel AWP-er, try's transfer to Ukrainian club Passion UA.

According to Imperial's official statement, due to unforeseen circumstances, the club has had to decide to attempt to cancel try's transfer.

Currently, the transfer agreement between the two teams has been terminated. For business privacy reasons, neither party will disclose any details or terms of the contract or agreement.

However, Dust2 previously reported that Imperial was apparently unhappy with Passion UA's repeated breaches of contract and delays in paying try's transfer fee.

Imperial has notified Passion UA of this decision, and the two teams have held meetings recently to devise a solution.

Meanwhile, Imperial also announced that the club will immediately begin negotiations with try regarding contractual signing issues.

On the other hand, Dust2 added that although try will return to Imperial, this does not mean his position within the team will remain unchanged.

MIBR is reportedly may also consider signing try.

The team's rising star, kl1m, may leave after his loan spell ends. If they cannot retain him, MIBR may consider signing try as a replacement.

As part of MIBR's transition to an international roster, kl1m joined the team on-loan from G2 Ares in August 2025.

Although he was initially disciplined internally for making inappropriate remarks due to cultural differences, kl1m recently shone with the team at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Cologne.

In any case, given the current situation, all Counter Strike 2 (CS2) clubs interested in working with try must first approach Imperial to obtain their consent.

try was acquired by Passion UA from Imperial in February 2026, becoming part of their ambitious international roster. At that time, the Argentine AWP-er replaced hallzerk in the lineup.

Since joining Passion UA, try has participated in IEM Rio and Atlanta, but the team was eliminated in the first stage each time due to poor performance. The team's best result during this spell was a runner-up finish at Urban Riga Open 4.
