Brazil returned to winning ways on Saturday with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Haiti in their second Group C match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in United States, Canada and Mexico at the Philadelphia Stadium.

In the first half, Raphinha's goal was disallowed, and later, he chipped the keeper but his shot went just wide of an empty net. Cunha scored twice, and Vinicius Jr. slotted home. In the second half, Adé's close-range header was saved off the line, and Martinelli's shot hit the crossbar. Ultimately, Brazil secured a 3-0 victory over Haiti. After this round of matches, the Canarinho temporarily leads the group with 4 points; Haiti remains rooted at the bottom at the group with 0 points.

First Half

In the 11th minute, Bruno Guimarães delivered a diagonal overhead pass from the right wing. Raphinha quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps before volleying the ball into the top left corner of the net with his left foot. However, the linesman immediately raised his flag, indicating that Raphinha was caught offside, and the goal was disallowed!

10 minutes later, Casemiro delivered a low diagonal through pass from the right wing. Raphinha quickly followed up, got the ball and dribbled towards just outside of the penalty area before chipping the ball over the outrushing Johny Placide with a left-footed long shot, but his shot somehow went just narrowly wide of the bottom left corner of the post of the empty net, Brazil squandered a golden opportunity to take the lead first!

In the 23rd minute, Guimarães delivered a low diagonal through pass from near the midfield center circle. Vinícius Júnior quickly followed up, got the ball, dribble and cuts into the left side of the box before volleying with his right foot. His shot was initially saved and cleared off not far away by Placide. Upon picking up the loose ball, Matheus Cunha quickly tapped the ball into the bottom left corner of the net with a right-footed follow-up shot from a very close distance in the box. Brazil broke the deadlock first to take a 1-0 lead!

13 minutes later, Brazil launched a deadly counter-attack. Vinícius delivered a low diagonal through pass from from the attacking third. After beating the offside trap, Cunha quickly followed up, got the ball and dribbled into the left side of the box before volleying the ball into the top left corner of the net with his left foot, extending Brazil's lead to 2-0!

In the third minute of first-half stoppage time, Lucas Paquetá played an overhead pass from the midfield center circle. After beating the offside trap, Vinícius Júnior, quickly  followed up, got the ball and dribbled into the left side of the box before slotting the ball into the lower center of the empty net with a right-footed shot past the outrushing Placide, sealing a 3-0 victory for Brazil! This was the Real Madrid winger's 11th international goal for the Canarinho!

At halftime, Brazil, perfectly showcasing their exquisite O Jogo Bonito style of play and dominating their opponents, is already temporarily leading Haiti by 3-0.

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 57th minute, Ruben Providence crossed into the box from the left wing, where Dominique Simon rose high and attempted with a header in the box, however his effort was saved by Alisson.

5 minutes later, Haiti won a corner opportunity. Jean-Ricner Bellegarde took the corner by crossing it into the box, where Ricardo Adé rose high and attempted with a header in a very close distance the box, however his effort was saved off the goal line by Alisson's diving save! Haiti missed a golden opportunity to pull one back!

In the 69th minute, Vinicius Júnior backheeled the ball from the left side of the box. Gabriel Martinelli quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed with his right foot from the left side of the box, but his shot unfortunately struck the bottom right corner of the crossbar and bounced off! Brazil missed another golden opportunity to score again!

In the 77th minute, Rayan passes horizontally from the left wing. Douglas Santos quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps before volleying with his left foot from the left side of the box, but his shot flew high and went out of the pitch.

11 minutes later, Louicius Deedson made a straight pass from the left wing. Wilson Isidor quickly followed up, got the ball and dribbled into the left side of the box before volleying with his left foot from a difficult angle at a very close distance in the box against the outrushing Alisson, but his shot was blocked by the latter's outstretched leg.

In the first minute of injury time, Martinelli passes horizontally from the left side of the box. Ederson quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, shoved the ball with a left-footed shot from a very close distance in the box, but his shot somehow went just slightly wide wide of the bottom right corner of the post! Brazil missed another golden opportunity to score again!

3 minutes later, Derrick Etienne Jr. passes horizontally from the left wing. Simon quickly followed up, stopped the ball and adjusted his angle before taking a right-footed long shot from outside the penalty area, but his shot was saved by Alisson.

When the final whistle is blown, Brazil comfortably defeated Haiti by 3-0.
