Massimiliano Allegri has officially taken charge of Napoli, assuming the role of head coach.

Napoli Football Club officially announced that Massimiliano Allegri has officially taken over as first-team manager, signing a contract that runs until June 30, 2029. Massimiliano Allegri not only has extensive professional playing experience but also played for Napoli in the 1997/98 season. After retiring as a player, he began his coaching career at Aglianese in the 2003/04 season.  

In the 2007/08 season, Massimiliano Allegri led Sassuolo to historic promotion to Serie B for the first time and won the Serie C Super Cup. Shortly afterward, he took over as manager of Serie A, leading Cagliari to a ninth-place finish and winning the Italian Coach of the Year "Golden Bench Award" for his outstanding performance.  

In 2010, Massimiliano Allegri took over as manager of AC Milan and led the team to their 18th Serie A title and their 6th Italian Super Cup. During his tenure at Juventus from 2014 to 2019, he built a dominant force in Italian football, winning five consecutive Serie A titles, four consecutive Coppa Italia titles, and the Italian Super Cup twice. He also led the team to the Champions League final twice.  

Two years after leaving Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri returned to Turin to take the reins again, leading the team to his fifth Coppa Italia title in 2024. Last season, he returned to AC Milan, ultimately guiding the team to a fifth-place finish in Serie A.
