After Egypt was eliminated by Argentina with a two-goal comeback, Egypt's head coach, Hossam Hassan, publicly expressed his strong dissatisfaction.

Because he believed his team had been "unfairly treated" by the referee, Hassan publicly vowed that he would never watch another minute of this World Cup match.
